Annual Report Unveils Worst Restaurant Menu Items

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Planning on going out for dinner?

If you're watching your waistline, there are meals you'll definitely want to avoid.

The Center for Science in the Public Interest released its annual Xtreme Eating report.

Among the worst menu items is the build your sampler option from Applebee's.

If you order the five least healthy options, this appetizer clocks in with more than 3,000 calories, 65 grams of saturated fat and more than five days' worth of sodium.

Another item to make the list is The Cheesecake Factory's fried chicken & waffles benedict.

Is has more than 2,500 calories, 86 grams of saturated fat and 3,300 milligrams of sodium.

Finally, Dave & Buster's short rib & cheesy mac stack with 2,000 calories and two days' worth of saturated fat and sodium.
