Police Investigating Fatal Shooting Outside Forward Twp. Bar

FORWARD TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- A man died after a shooting that took place outside a Forward Township bar early Saturday morning.

The shooting happened around 2 a.m. outside Saloon 136 on Rainbow Run Road.

According to the Washington County coroner, 27-year-old Johnathan Minnie of Belle Vernon was standing in Saloon 136's parking lot with a group of friends just before 2 a.m. when a vehicle approached and shots were fired at the group.

Minnie suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was sent to Monongahela Valley Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 2:30 a.m.

Allegheny County police say two 27-year-old women also suffered gunshot wounds and were transported to local hospitals. Both were last reported to be in stable condition.
