Victims Identified In Deadly Somerset Co. Crash

SHADE TWP. (KDKA) -- A man and woman were killed Thursday in a crash in Somerset County.

It happened around 7 p.m., on Lincoln Highway, east of Barta Road.

State police say a Honda Civic, driven by 25-year-old Melanie Donna Wetzel, was traveling westbound and lost control of the vehicle on the wet road. The car crossed the center line and hit a Honda Odyssey traveling east.

Wetzel and her passenger, 26-year-old Andrew Khoury Kuremsky, were pronounced dead at the scene.

The passengers in the other vehicle were taken to Conemaugh Hospital. There is no word on their conditions.
