Police Investigating South Side Shooting

SOUTH SIDE (KDKA) -- Police are investigating a shooting that took place in the South Side early Saturday morning.

The shooting took place around 2:05 a.m. at the intersection of S. 21st Street and E. Carson Street on the South Side.

When police arrived on the scene, they found a 24-year-old man who had been shot in the abdomen and left ankle. He was sent to UPMC Mercy, and police say he was last reported to be in stable condition.

According to police, the victim was refusing to cooperate with the investigation.
