Upholstery Business Crashed Into For Second Time In 12 Days

LINCOLN (KDKA) -- A car crashed into an upholstery business in Lincoln early Sunday morning, marking the second time the building had been crashed into in less than two weeks.

The crash happened around 1:30 a.m. at Bellas Upholstery located at 1501 Lovedale Road. The unidentified driver crashed through the wall of the building and was trapped inside the vehicle.

The Lincoln Borough Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company (VFRC) reported on their Facebook page that crews had to remove the car's doors and roof to get the driver out. The driver was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

The cause of the crash is unclear.

On Aug. 2, Lincoln VFRC reported that a truck had crashed into Bellas Upholstery around noon.
