Market District Recipes: Greek Yogurt Ranch Dressing & Basic Vinaigrette

Greek Yogurt Ranch Dressing
- 1/2 cup greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 tsp fresh herbs, minced (combination of parsley, dill, tarragon, chives, oregano)
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 3/4 tsp garlic, minced
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Pinch sugar (optional)
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Basic Vinaigrette
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp shallots, minced
- 1 tsp fresh herbs (thyme, oregano or basil)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3/4 cup oil
Mix all ingredients except the oil in a bowl until well combined. Slowly drizzle in the oil while whisking until fully incorporated.
