Dead Body Found In Car Off Parkway East

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Police swarmed the Parkway East on Saturday after a crash.

It happened around 6 p.m. near Rodi Road in Penn Hills.

A car was exiting the Parkway East when it went off the road, down an embankment and struck a barrier.

A dead male who had been shot was found in the driver’s seat.

Authorities believe the gunshot wound was self-inflicted.

The victim was 35 years old and from West Virginia.

Police have not released any further information.
