Florida Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Fayette Co. Girl He Met Online

NORTH UNION TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – A truck driver from Florida has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a Fayette County girl multiple times last month.

According to police, the incidents took place at the Hampton Inn in Uniontown from July 12-16.

The 11-year-old victim said she had interacted with the suspect through social media for several months.

The suspect, Christopher Brown, 27, of Sebastian, Florida, made arrangements to come to the area and took the girl to the hotel on multiple occasions.

On two occasions, the girl left her home at night and was returned before her parents noticed she was missing.

The girl showed police a photo that had been posted on social media of her with Brown in the hotel room.

Through the course of their investigation, police determined that Brown had rented a pickup truck in Carlisle and drove to Uniontown. He had also used his name to make arrangements at the hotel.

He was later arrested at a truck stop in Greenwood, Louisiana and is expected to be extradited to Pennsylvania in the coming weeks.
