'I Smelled Disgusting': Catfish Falls From The Sky, Slaps Woman In Face

PHILADELPHIA (KDKA) -- Talk about a smelly surprise...a woman walking through a park in Philadelphia was stunned when something slimy slapped her in the face.

According to CBS Philadelphia,  Lisa Lobree was walking through Fairmont Park when a catfish fell from the sky and smacked her.

"I think it might have been head, face, and neck because I smelled so bad afterwards. I smelled disgusting," she said.

After recovering from the shock, a friend she was strolling with noticed the stinky transgressor.

"It bounced off Annie. Annie sees me go down, turns around, looks and goes 'Oh my God! It was a fish,'" she said.

She suffered a small cut to her face and some swelling from the impact. The fish was over a foot long.

The victim said she was "hysterical" at first, but now is able to laugh at the bizarre incident.

"Think it's just nice it's giving people a good story to laugh at," she said.

It is believed the falling fish was dropped by a bird flying over.
