Pa. Woman Charged In Double Homicide Found Dead In Prison Cell

YORK, Pa. (AP) – A woman charged with the shooting deaths of a two people in a Pennsylvania home has been found dead in her prison cell.

York County Coroner Pam Gay says 32-year-old Veronique Henry was found unresponsive in her cell at the York County Prison Thursday morning after an apparent hanging.

The York Dispatch reports Henry and her 40-year-old husband Paul Henry were arrested Wednesday on charges including homicide and robbery.

Police accused the two of killing 31-year-old Foday Cheeks and 26-year-old Danielle Taylor at a Fawn Township home Tuesday.

A 12-year-old boy and 14-year-old boy were in the house at the time, as were two women.

Witnesses told police the suspects took their cellphones and tore through the house looking for drugs.

No lawyer information is available in online court documents.
