Furry Tails: Univers & Wario Are Waiting For Forever Homes

Are you looking to bring a pet into your home? Local animal shelters are a great place to find a furry companion. So, as part of Furry Tails, I’ll be doing an ongoing feature on adoptable pets from local animal shelters once a week. If you have room in your heart and are looking to bring a lovable ball of fur into your home, maybe one of these guys is meant to be a part of your family!

Animal Friends

This cute little bunny wants to be the center of your universe! She’s looking for a good home where she’ll get lots of love an attention!

Animal Friends Pet Profile:
Univers is an easy-going girl who loves people. She was found abandoned in the middle of the winter and brought to Animal Friends. Now, she is patiently waiting for a loving home where she will never be cold again! This gentle girl is a wonderful bunny who does not fuss about being petted, picked up or held. She would be a great companion for either a first-time or seasoned rabbit owner and gets along great with other bunnies. To meet Univers, stop by Animal Friends or log onto ThinkingOutsideTheCage.org/Rabbits.

If you can help, come to Animal Friends at 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, Pa., 15237 or call 412-847-7002. For more information on how you can adopt any of the pets at Animal Friends, visit their website here!

Animal Rescue League Pet Profile:
This handsome pup is Wario! Upon meeting him, you will see he is nothing like his Nintendo namesake. This 1-year-old boy is very friendly and super sweet! Wario came to the Animal Rescue League as a stray back in August, and has been nothing but friendly to everyone he has met. Don’t let Wario’s perpetually ‘worried’ expression fool you, he is a young pup who has many years of love to give to his new family! If you’d like to learn more about Wario, please visit the Animal Rescue League’s website or just stop on by the shelter to meet him! The adoption fee for Wario is $130.
