Police Investigating Armed Robbery At Pizza Shop

EAST LIBERTY (KDKA) -- Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place at an East Liberty pizza shop Friday night.

The incident happened around 8:25 p.m. at the Domino's located at 120 Sheridan Square.

According to police, a man entered the store, pointed a silver revolver at the employees behind the counter and told the cashier to empty the register. The man fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured.

Police say the suspect is described as a black man, possibly between the ages of 35 and 45. He is about 6-feet-1-inch tall and 250 to 275 lbs.

At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a dark gray jacket with a light gray hoodie and a checkered shirt underneath, dark pants, a black tassel hat and a mask. He was also wearing black sunglasses.

Police ask anyone with any information regarding this robbery to call 412-323-7800 and ask for the Violent Crime Unit.
