2 Sought In South Fayette Twp. Attempted Kidnapping & Robbery

SOUTH FAYETTE TOWNSHIP (KDKA) - Police have released new information after a man was allegedly held at gunpoint and forced to hand over his money.

South Fayette Township Police say three suspects were involved in the attempted kidnapping and robbery of a man Friday night.

According to the criminal complaint, the victim told police his friend, D'Andre Garrett, said he wanted to go to the store to buy cigarettes. The victim says he got into Garrett's car and there were two other passengers inside.

Instead of going to the store, the victim said one the passengers pulled out a gun and told him he would be killed.

Garrett was arrested over the weekend. Police tracked the car to the William Penn Apartments in Wilkinsburg. Police said Garrett barricaded himself inside his apartment.

"When I finally looked out my door and I'm seeing the police standing there with guns drawn and I'm saying, 'What the hell is going on? He's like, 'Ma'am go back in your house,'" one neighbor said.

A SWAT team was called in to assist with a search for a second suspect in Forest Hills. That man, 24-year-old Delon Lindsey, is still on the run.

The third suspect has not yet been identified.

The victim said Lindsey pointed a gun at him while they were in the car, and demanded that he give them his money.

The victim says the third suspect hit him in the head with a gun. He said the men stole his cell phone and made him take off his shoes before they made him get out of the car.

Garrett remains at the Allegheny County Jail.

Anyone with information about Lindsey's whereabouts is asked to call South Fayette Township Police.

The suspects face charges of attempted kidnapping, aggravated assault and robbery.
