Police: Rejected Job Seeker Fires 11 Shots In Air

HALIFAX, Pa. (AP) - State police are seeking a man who reportedly asked about a job at a central Pennsylvania nightclub and then fired almost a dozen shots in the air when he was rejected.

Police in Dauphin County told PennLive.com that the 29-year-old man went to the Cabin Night Club in Reed Township at about 1:20 a.m. Saturday and asked about applying for a job but was told that no job was available.

Police said he then went into the passenger side of a sedan, raised a semi-automatic handgun out of the window and fired 11 shots in the air before speeding away. Witnesses reported that the man continued to fire in the air as the car left.

Police are seeking the suspect and asked anyone with information to call investigators.
