Wendy's Investigating Claim That 4-Year-Old Ate Pot-Laced French Fries

DAYTON, Ohio (KDKA) – Wendy's is investigating claims that an Ohio woman's young daughter ate pot-laced French fries.

Dezeray Risner says found marijuana in her French fries after her 4-year-old daughter told her mother the fries "tasted funny and were yucky."

Risner says her daughter was chewing the food when she noticed there were green flakes in them.

The young girl immediately spit the fries out into her mother's hand.

"At first I thought it was charred French fries, like they burned them or something, but as I was looking you could see the paper, you could see the marijuana in it, I put it up to my nose, you could smell it," Risner said.

Two of the three employees questioned at the restaurant admit that they do smoke but insisted that they were not responsible for the tainted fries.

Police say there are no surveillance cameras in the food prep area so it's not likely they will be able to prove anything.
