Paramedic Assaulted By Patient In Fayette County
FAYETTE COUNTY (KDKA) -- A paramedic was assaulted by a patient in South Union Township on Tuesday.
The incident happened on Booker Way just after 3 p.m.
According to state police, a female paramedic was attempting to treat 38-year-old Shannon Ermlick when Ermlick grabbed the paramedic by her hair and dragged her down to the ground, face first. It is unknown if the paramedic was injured.
Ermlick was arraigned on aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment charges.
