Missing Teen's Mom Pleads For Information On Her Daughter's Disappearance

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Pittsburgh Police say a teenager who has been missing for over a month may be in danger.

Mahogani Robinson has not seen or heard from her 13-year-old daughter, Jordyn, since early September. She has run away before, but nothing like this.

"I just don't know how much longer I can go on like this. It's difficult. It's bigger than any human can even imagine," said Robinson.

In a news release from the Pittsburgh Public Safety Department, police say Jordyn is now considered missing and endangered, which means investigators consider her disappearance to be suspicious.

Her mom says the last time anyone reported seeing Jordyn was last month in Homewood, after leaving her father's house.

"An acquaintance says he dropped her off at Tioga and Brushton, but nobody has seen or heard from her since then," said Robinson. "For no one to have heard from her, for her not to reach out to anyone, I am just at a loss for words."

Police have renewed their pleas for anyone with information about Jordyn to come forward.

Her mom says there hasn't been any activity on her phone, and it's not like her to be completely out of touch for so long. Jordyn has run away in the past, but never for this long or without a peep.

For her mother that is what's most frightening.

"It's horrible," says Robinson. "I just hope she comes home."

Pittsburgh Police say if you know anything about Jordyn Robinson's disappearance, they want to hear from you.
