WATCH: Ben Roethlisberger Asks Tom Brady For His Jersey Before Steelers-Pats Game

Bryan Altman

Whether you love or loathe Tom Brady, you have to acknowledge that he's one of the best to ever put on a uniform and play in the NFL. Heck, even future Hall of Fame quarterbacks who have competed against him for the last decade-plus recognize his greatness, as evidenced by a recent pregame exchange between Brady and Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger.

Roethlisberger, as you probably are aware, was injured and couldn't play in the Steelers' game against the Patriots this past weekend, but met up with Brady at midfield before the start of the game.

After expressing to Brady how badly he "wanted to be out here" against him, he took the opportunity to ask Brady if he could have one of his jerseys after the game, something the Steelers QB noted "he's never done before."

Brady was more than happy to oblige, saying, "Let's do it, I'll get you after the game."

The whole exchange was a nice reminder that these guys really are fans of the game and of each other when they're not competing on the gridiron on Sundays.

Bryan Altman is, for some reason, an unabashed fan of the Rangers, Jets and Mets. If he absolutely had to pick a basketball team it would be the Knicks, but he'd gladly trade them for a championship for any of his other three teams.
