Weatherman 'Honored' By Boy's Halloween Costume, Returns The Favor
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Call us biased...but here at KDKA we think we've nailed down who had the best Halloween costume of 2016.
Jada Onusko sent in a picture of her brother, 14-year-old Michael, all dressed up as a KDKA weatherman this weekend.
"You guys are his favorite, he makes sure to watch everyday," she wrote.
Michael goes to Clairview School in Greensburg. Jada says he has cerebral palsy, which confines him to a wheelchair.
The forecasters, along with everyone else at KDKA, were inspired by Michael's awesome costume and his sister's message.
Ron Smiley was so impressed, he decided to return the favor by dressing up as Michael for Halloween for Monday's morning newscast. Smiley said he was honored by the boy's costume.
I don't see it.... joking. Way to go Michael you're wearing it better than me! Honored by the costume. #kdkawxpic.twitter.com/c5QgmEAwbi

Jada told KDKA that Michael got a huge laugh from seeing Ron dressed up like him.
Rick Dayton was stunned by the uncanny likeness.
"He's got the desk there, KDKA across the front, look how he is decked out. He's got his mug and he is all set to go," Dayton joked. "Mike, so, so glad you did that, thanks for representing KDKA in such a great way and we hope you have a great Halloween."

Michael and his family stopped by the KDKA studio on Nov. 9 for a tour. He even got to play weatherman during commercial breaks.
