The alleged victims, ages 11 and 16, were brought to the attention of Fayette County Children and Youth by a mother and aunt to whom they reported the alleged crimes.

The 16-year-old victim told authorities that the first alleged incident occurred when she was 11 years old. The 11-year-old said the alleged abuse began when she was 6 or 7.

Stoffa reportedly told them to never tell anyone about the incidents. Both girls told police they didn't tell anyone because they were afraid of Stoffa.
