Report: Pa. Woman Beat, Fed Laxatives And Hot Sauce To Boyfriend's Son

QUARRYVILLE (KDKA) -- A Lancaster County woman is accused of beating her boyfriend's son and feeding him laxatives and hot sauce.

According to Lancaster Online, 31-year-old Danielle L. Miller was charged Monday with multiple counts of child abuse. She reportedly resented the 4-year-old boy for being from a former relationship.

The boy's father, 30-year-old Nathan P. Duke, is charged with concealing and failing to report child abuse.

According to officials, Miller would bind the boy's legs and lock him in a padded closet for hours. This treatment reportedly went on for months.

The 4-year-old was also allegedly fed a laxative and forced to stay on the toilet. He was also allegedly fed hot sauce without being allowed to drink water for long periods of time.

Miller is accused of swearing and yelling at the boy, calling him a "pig" and telling him he had a "stupid, ugly face."

The child is now staying with relatives.

Miller is being held at Lancaster County Prison unable to post $300,000 bail. Duke is in prison unable to post $100,000.
