Protesters March On Pitt Campus After Trump's Win
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Following Donald Trump's win in the U.S. Presidential Election, protesters spent the overnight hours marching on a local college campus.
According to a managing editor at the Pitt News, at least one protest was going on at the University of Pittsburgh campus.

No specific event information was provided, but around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, people could be seen gathering near the Hillman Library.
Around 2:15 a.m., the crowd was seen near the Cathedral of Learning, braving rain.
The crowds were marching and chanting through Oakland.
"It's not the turn of events people expected, so they're expressing it of course," said protester Vinny Parleto.
"Being a woman, it's terrifying," said Jennifer Sybrandt, another protester. "It's terrifying to think that I could be abused and no one would care, I could be raped and no one would care, I could be sexually assaulted and no one would care, because our president does that and gets away with it."
Around 3 a.m., The Pitt News reported on their Twitter account the protest was moving near the Hillman Library.
According to The Pitt News, there were no injuries and police were on the scene.
Many of the students are Hillary Clinton supporters, and thought the Democratic Presidential nominee would win the election, and become the country's first female president. Instead, Trump was declared the winner- clinching most of the swing states, including Pennsylvania.
"As a woman and as a former press reporter, every fiber of my being is just against this presidency," said Eva Fine.
"The public from the rural counties came out and voted and no one thought they were going to, but they did and the cities just couldn't pull through," said Sybrandt.
The march was peaceful, but emotions were high, as students walked near the Hillman Library and the Cathedral of Learning.
Colin Jones, a Pitt freshman, told KDKA, "I don't think like she said that violent protests is the answer. I think we need to work together I think we need to listen to what everyone has to say, I think we need to listen to even the Donald Trump supporters."
Demetrious Dorsey added, "It's just about to get real hectic, so pack your food, if you have to leave America, get your passport together, because it's about to get serious.
There are no reports of any arrests nor any damage during the protests.
Shoemaker additionally linked to another event page on Facebook: "Emergency Meeting: Let's Unite To Stop President Trump."
Hundreds were invited to that event in East Liberty, set to begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
