1 Dead After Stabbing In Rankin

RANKIN (KDKA) -- Police are investigating a fatal stabbing in Rankin that took place Sunday afternoon.

The incident happened just before 12:30 p.m. at a home in the 100 block of 3rd Avenue.

Officers responded to the residence after a 911 caller reported a man had been stabbed.

Police say they found a 51-year-old man suffering from a stab wound at the scene. He has been identified as Trenton Campbell. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

According to police, a second man was also at the home. He was detained for questioning.

The investigation is ongoing.
