Butler Co. Dealership Offers Big Reward After Bentley Wheel Theft

VALENCIA (KDKA) - A local car dealership is offering a big reward for information about a recent theft.

Twin Willows Auto Sales in Valencia said someone stole 22-inch Giovanna wheels off a 2007 Bentley Continental GT AWD.

"Unfortunately, we had to spend over $4,000 for new wheels and tires on it now," Twin Willows Auto Sales Owner John Seibel said. "The wheel and tires that were on the car that was stolen was about $4,800 retail."

The dealership posted the pictures of the Bentley on its Facebook page after the tires were stolen.

"Yesterday morning when I came in to go to an auction, it was sitting in the corner over there, had two batteries under it and brakes and rotors sitting on the ground under the car. We knew we had been hacked," Seibel said.

Seibel called the Middlesex Township Police Department and says they came down to the lot and checked fingerprints on the batteries.

"The way it went down and the speed that they had to do it because we have the police in and out of here constantly, the time they spent it had to have been more than one guy. One guy couldn't have done it that quick," Seibel said.

The twin turbo car retails at $300,000 new, but is still worth $85,000 as a used model. Seibel is selling it for $59,000.

According to the dealership, the car came from the West Coast and has nearly 50,000 miles on it.

The vehicle was posted on eBay for several days. While it had some bidders, the vehicle never left the lot.

A $3,000 reward is being offering for information leading to the guilty party.

"Anybody that leaves me information to who did it and a conviction, there's a $3,000 cash reward," Seibel said.

The dealership said they are trying to identify the thief by using surveillance video. They are also giving the thief a chance to return the wheels with no questions asked.

"Turn yourself in. If you want to drop the wheels off in the middle of the night at the dealership, we can leave it lay," Seibel said.
