Body Found In Mon River Identified

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The medical examiner has identified a body found in the Monongahela River Saturday afternoon.

Pittsburgh River Rescue recovered the body floating 50 feet from the shore near the Waterfront shopping center in West Homestead.

Saturday evening, officials identified the deceased person pulled from the water as David J. Carter, 26, of Homestead.

Carter was last seen Jan. 18 on the Homestead Grays Bridge.
