Woman Killed In Westmoreland County Crash

YOUNGWOOD, Pa. (KDKA) -- One woman is dead after a crash in Westmoreland County.

It happened around 10 p.m. in the area of North 4th Street and Haller Street in Youngwood.

Police say Jessica A. Morris, 43, operating a Chevrolet Cavalier, struck the back end of a pickup truck, causing the truck to hit a parked vehicle.

Morris then left the road and collided with a porch column on a house in the 400 block of North 4th Street before continuing down an embankment and striking another home.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Speed is believed to be a factor. Morris was not wearing a seat belt.
