Police Investigating After 1 Man Injured In Plum Shooting

PLUM (KDKA) - Allegheny County Police are investigating a shooting in Plum.

Officers were called to the scene near the corner of Emerald Drive and Repp Road shortly before 12:30 a.m. Tuesday.

When officers arrived, they found a 26-year-old male suffering from at least two gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital for treatment. His condition is unknown, but the injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Police blocked traffic at the intersection for a couple of hours before clearing the scene.

"I didn't hear anything myself. I was surprised to know all those vehicles were right here and we heard nothing at all," Colleen Stab said.

"A lot of people walk on this road during the day, I'm not sure what happens at night. My husband jogs up and down it," Stab continued. "It's not pleasant, but my guess is that it's just something that happened on this road, that has nothing to do with our plan, or Plum in general."

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Allegheny County Police Homicide Unit at (412)-473-1300.
