Pittsburgh Police Mourning Sudden Loss Of K-9 Mixo
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - A K-9 with the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police died suddenly.
The officer named Mixo passed away Tuesday after serious health complications. Despite those issues, handlers did not expect to lose the dog.
Mixo was trained in narcotics and patrol work. He joined the unit in 2010.
He was only 7-years-old and was in the prime of his law enforcement career.
