Water Main Break In Connellsville Closes Entire Block

FAYETTE COUNTY (KDKA) -- A water main break in Connellsville closed an entire block Sunday morning.

The Connellsville Police Department had asked drivers to avoid the 400 block of South Pittsburgh Street for several hours.

Photos show a section of the road which appears to have buckled with water coming up through the street.

Just before 2 p.m. Mayor Greg Lincoln said the main had been repaired and the street had been reopened shortly.
