Knoxville SWAT Situation Ends Peacefully, Suspect In Custody

KNOXVILLE (KDKA) – A SWAT situation ended peacefully in Knoxville Tuesday morning.

According to police, the incident started at a home in the 200 block of Amanda Avenue around 10 a.m.

Police attempted to serve a warrant to one of the residents, but they refused to cooperate. As a result, SWAT was called to the home.

The suspect, 24-year-old Isaiah Bailey, was taken into custody without incident around 10:30 a.m.

Bailey was initially wanted for burglary and an assault stemming from a domestic incident.
