2 Dead, 2 Wounded In Shooting In Pittsburgh Neighborhood

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) --- One victim has been identified in a late night shooting Monday night in the Lincoln-Lemington-Belmar neighborhood that left two dead and two wounded.

The sister of one of the victims told the Post Gazette, the man who was shot is her brother, 22-year-old Allen Bailey from Wilkinsburg. She also told the Post Gazette this was her second brother murdered this year. Her other brother, 27-year-old Anthony Bailey, was killed in Pitcairn in March.

Officers were called to the 7200 block of Everton Street around 11:15 p.m.

Two male victims were pronounced dead at the scene. A male and a female were taken to the hospital in stable condition.

"When police officers arrived, they discovered four people shot. Two people are dead, two others were taken to the hospital. Three males and one female," said Alicia George, the city's assistant public information officer.

All four were found in a stairwell landing inside the building.

Police have not named any suspects in the case, but were on the scene for several hours searching for weapons and evidence. Search dogs were also brought in.

The victims' names have not been released. So, far police have also not named any suspects.
