Renaissance Festival Returns With More Fun Activities

The Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival, which is open weekends through Sepember, features favorite characters from years past. However, there’s also something new this year.

King Henry, by royal decree, has ordered that there be a Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival! The location will remain at Morelandshire, but his Majesty has ordered that many changes be made. You’ll enter the kingdom through a new castle front gate. The realm shall be filled with more music, new entertainment and a variety of lively street characters.

Jousters will compete in the Jousting Arena, while the smallest of the kingdom can enjoy their time in the new Children’s Realm. There will be improved food areas with additional seating, a Pirate’s Pub and a new upscale crafts marketplace.

Join in the merriment! Attend the 2013 Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival. It’s Affordable Fun for Everyone! Visit
