Sheldon McClellan scored 16 of his 20 points in the second half and Davon Reed tied a career-high with 19 as Miami kept its slim hopes of an at-large berth to the NCAA Tournament alive with a 67-63 win over Pitt on Wednesday night.

Penn State Falls To Ohio State, 77-67

Ohio State’s Thad Matta tied a school record for coaching victories Wednesday night and quickly noted that players such as D’Angelo Russell make him a better coach. Russell scored 28 points and No. 23 Ohio State’s 77-67 victory over Penn State placed Matta in a tie with Fred Taylor with 297 wins against 91 defeats in 11 seasons with the Buckeyes.

Kansas Rallies To Beat West Virginia In OT And Win Big 12

Frank Mason III capped one of the biggest comebacks in Allen Fieldhouse history by scoring the last eight points in overtime to lead No. 9 Kansas past No. 20 West Virginia 76-69 on Tuesday night for the Jayhawks’ 11th consecutive Big 12 championship.
