  4. on your sunday night sports show your 3 guests were strongly suggesting the removal of Coach Bylsma I talked to my son a captain, 4-year varsity hockey player, die-hard pens fan and badger bob winner. he replied with this and maybe your guests need to read this: I thought alot about what you said about how Dan Bylsma won with Therrien's Team. However you along with many other sports analyst some dubbed "experts" are wrong. Therrien's team lost the stanley cup with his pick ups of Marian Hossa, Hal Gill, and Pascal Dupuis....Dan Bylsma came into a team that was not winning although it was Therrien who had built the team to that point there were 2 players that were brought upon Bylsma's request. 2 players that played pivotal roles in the playoffs of 2009. Bill Guerin who scored the OT game winner in the Flyer series. Who also played along Sidney Crosby and assisted on almost every goal he scored in the Capitals series. Also someone many forget that if it was not for Bylsma Shero would of never found him. Chris Kunitz Dan Bylsma's former Stanley Cup teammate from the Ducks. Kunitz brought physicallity to the Pens putting Kimo Timmonen head over heels on an explosive hit. Granted right now Guerin is gone and Kunitz is causing more harm than help with his penalties but Dan's systems have worked here since day 1 and the 2 years past the stanley cup 1 year he had no Malkin or Crosby and this year is the first struggle. Mario may not want to lose to the Flyers but they are a good team. It would be a HUGE, HUGE mistake to lose Dan Bylsma. People need to keep their mouths shut and have their facts straight before they start making comments and being negative. THE PENGUINS ARE STILL IN THE PLAYOFFS. it is a hard road to stay alive but its not impossible its been done before....Wednesday night will show if the Pens have given up or if they are going to get back to their game (fundamental, hard hitting hockey, that goes shift by shift wave by wave and is the hockey that all of the NHL has feared) Paul martin in or Simon Despres everyone needs to nut up or shut up.

  7. Bob, when will you remind eveyone that while B.A. may not have called a perfect game, Ben still has a lot of control over the offense. He called a run audible into a run defense. Ben was in fact hurt, but that does not negate his poor play calling that B.A. allows him the freedom to do. Ben makes poor calls and Bruce takes the heat.

  1. I believe that Pitt was accepted into the ACC on or about 9/18/11, so the 27 months would be up around 12/18/13. However, Pitt doesn't play any Big East teams until Notre Dame on 12/27/13 and Cincinnati on 1/01/14. So why couldn't Pitt say that they will start playing basketball in the ACC at the end of December 2013?
