Nothing says spring is on the way like the annual home and garden show at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. This is one of my favorite springtime events. It's fun, full of ideas and fun give-aways. There is something there for everybody. I absolutely love flowers and kitchens. Nothing is more upsetting than a dull house that has no trees and flowers or a descent kitchen.

My personal favorite of the entire show is the Kitchen and Cooking collection. I love cooking, baking and enormous kitchens. They will offer an acre of kitchen goodness. You can find cabinets, appliance, food, wines and other taste bud delighting taste testing. The cooking center is going to offer yummy treats from Pittsburgh's own talented chefs. Wish 99.7 will offer a kitchen giveaway at some point during the show.

Don't think they're leaving out the kids. There will be a Children's Village to keep the youngsters entertained. The Shady Lane Family Activity Center will be set up and hosted by Trib Total Media. There will be Kids Club toy trains, Radio Disney and turtle races. Enough for a fun filled day of things to do for the kiddos while mom and/or dad browse around.

While you do browse you'll be amazed at the affordable luxury and comfort you're going to be able to add to your very own home.
