A northwestern Pa. native, Eric began preparing for his career by writing and announcing Major League Baseball updates for his classmates in 6th grade.

Eric and his wife, Mary Lou, live in Peters Township and have two sons. Arden is a middle school student, who spends much of his time at South Hills hockey rinks.
