Kathy Berggren

Kathy was born and raised in Penn Hills. She began her broadcast career as Traffic Reporter for NewsRadio 1020 KDKA, then took a hiatus to raise her family. She returned full time to Triple A in the fall of 2002. Kathy previously worked as a preschool teacher and has been involved with autistic support in a Penn Hills elementary school. She currently serves as a problem captain in Odyssey of the Mind, an international school program. She also helps coach a girls softball team. Kathy is married and has 3 daughters.
