Kimberly Gill anchors KDKA TV News at Noon and 4 with Stacy Smith. She also hosts Your Pittsburgh, a show highlighting what’s new and positive in the Pittsburgh area.

Before joining KDKA, Kimberly worked as a news anchor at television stations in Ohio and South Carolina.

She has received recognition throughout her career for both her work in front of the camera and for her work in the community. She was recognized by The Ohio Broadcaster’s hall of Fame as its Personality of the Year for 2009. She was also nominated for an Emmy for her work as a host for several KDKA –TV produced programs including The Children’s Hospital Free Care Fund telethon and Highmark First Night.

She was one of Pittsburgh’s 50 Finest in 2012. She’s part of the New Pittsburgh Courier’s Fab 40 under 40. And she’s also a graduate of Leadership Pittsburgh.

Before becoming a news anchor, Kimberly paid her way through college by working two jobs. She fueled private and commercial airplanes for Eagle Aviation and she drove18-wheelers for FedEx. Even today, she keeps her Class A commercial driver’s license current – just in case her TV career doesn’t work out.

Kimberly was born in Newberry, South Carolina. She holds a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from The University of South Carolina and an MBA from Ashland University in Ashland, OH.
