The host of the KDKA Morning News with Larry Richert since 2001, Larry Richert is Pittsburgh’s master Master of Ceremonies and an ambassador for Pittsburgh.
Born in Millvale and raised in McCandless Township, Richert graduated from North Allegheny High School and Clarion University.

Pirates manager Clint Hurdle was to the point when asked by Larry Richert and John Shumway during the “KDKA Morning News” if Jung Ho Kang will make the 25-man roster.
We’re excited to announce that we’ve narrowed down our search to Larry’s 5 Hometown Heroes.
Join us on Friday, April 25 at the Club at Shadow Lakes as we Roast & Toast our own Larry Richert.
