Week 12 NFL Recap
Let’s take our weekly look back at the week that was in the NFL for week 12.
Steelers Secure 16-13 Overtime Win Despite Sloppy Play Against Chiefs
In their Monday Night Football matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, the Pittsburgh Steelers looked distracted and unfocused. Saving the game was Lawrence Timmons as he grabbed a Matt Cassel toss during the overtime period to set up the game winning field goal. Leaving the field of play 16-13 counts as a win, but if quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is seriously injured, the Steelers may be on the road to further misery.
Steelers May Be Without Antonio Brown For More Than Chiefs Game
Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Antonio Brown may have injured his ankle worse than expected. With four players out against the Kansas City Chiefs in a Monday Night Football matchup, the Steelers will make moves to fill spots where injuries plague them. The Steelers will likely see Jonathan Dwyer adding rushing yards with Isaac Redman in a balanced offense against a floundering Chiefs team.
Primetime Matchup Has Steelers Fired Up to Face Chiefs
The Pittsburgh Steelers (5-3) will host the flailing Kansas City Chiefs (1-7) in a game that the Steelers insist isn’t a ‘trap game’. See how the Steelers can effectively shut down KC and continue their winning ways.
Steelers Understand Game Against Kansas City Isn’t A Given
Despite the 1-7 record of the Kansas City Chiefs, practice has been going forward as usual for the Pittsburgh Steelers (5-3) whose offensive coordinator, Todd Haley, isn’t interested in revenge, but a win.
