The Pittsburgh Steelers are on a bye this week. As it turns out, the timing could not be any better. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger announced that he has a broken thumb, but does not expect to miss any time.
Report: Steelers’ Taylor Likely Needs Surgery For Broken Thumb
Cornerback Ike Taylor broke his left thumb during the first quarter of the Steelers’ 16-7 preseason loss to the Washington Redskins on Friday night. Now, according to our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Taylor will likely need to have surgery for the injury.
