Pittsburgh Police are investigating a shooting in Homewood that left a 19-year-old man dead Monday night.

William Jackson, Jr., a Pa. state constable, was taken into custody late Wednesday afternoon by Pittsburgh Police after he shot and killed a 42-year-old man in Homewood in what police call a domestic dispute.
A child was taken to Children’s Hospital this afternoon after she was reportedly bitten in the face by a pit bull.
Arson investigators are on the scene of a suspicious fire in the East Hills section of the city where one witness told police she saw someone throw something inside the building shortly before the blaze began.
