A jury has convicted the man Jerod A. Green, 36, of Morgantown, W.Va., who was involved in police chase that ended in a crash that claimed the life of Sgt. Michael Todd May last February.
Family, friends and the law enforcement community said a final goodbye Friday to the Monongalia County sheriff’s deputy who was killed last weekend in the line of duty.
A steady procession of family, friends and fellow officers are paying their final respects to Sgt. Michael Todd May who was killed in the line of duty during a police pursuit and crash last weekend.
May was supposed to get off at 11 p.m. the night he was killed, but he decided to stay and work a DUI detail.
Funeral plans have been announced for the sheriff’s sergeant from Monongalia County, W. Va., who died after his patrol car was rammed in Greene County during a police chase.
