In separate hearings Thursday, a magistrate in Wheeling, W. Va., said there was enough evidence to hold two men in custody in the beating death of a college student earlier this month.
The death of a Washington & Jefferson College student has been ruled a homicide. The Washington County Coroner reports Timothy McNerney, 21, of Butler, died from blunt force trauma of the head.
