Local Artist Spotlight: Ed Piskor

Ed Piskor is one of the best-known comic artists in Pittsburgh. He worked with Harvey Pekar, of American Splendor fame, early in his career, and since then he’s been neck deep in a variety of comic and illustration projects.

Last Chance at the ToonSeum

The ToonSeum, located in the Pittsburgh’s Cultural District, is an art gallery for all ages. Their current exhibit, Superheroes: Icons & Origins, runs to the end of July. It explores the origins of some of the best-known and most beloved comic heroes of the twentieth century.
