At Pittsburgh International Airport, the buzz is all about bees on a plane. Wednesday night, a Delta commuter flight loaded with passengers and about to take off for New York, was delayed.
With a little accordion music and a few balloons, Delta Airlines promoted its latest expansion in the Pittsburgh market. About 51 passengers were on the inaugural flight leaving Gate D-78 on Wednesday, a flight that was greeted with water cannon as it passed on its way to the runway.
A Delta flight made an emergency landing at the Pittsburgh International Airport. The flight was coming from Minneapolis-St. Paul and headed to LaGuardia Airport in New York.
A commercial flight was diverted to Pittsburgh International Airport.
