Sheriff: Owner Had Bite To Head, Possibly From Bengal Tiger

Authorities are releasing some new details today following the death of a wildlife preserve owner in Zanesville, Ohio, and the escape of dozens of exotic animals from the facility. According to the sheriff in Muskingum County, owner Terry Thompson died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Suspect Escapes From State Police Custody In Westmoreland Co.

Authorities in Westmoreland County are searching for a man who escaped from custody Friday evening at the State Police Greensburg Station in Hempfield Township. State police say 29-year-old Christopher Ghrist was in custody on drug charges and other criminal offenses.
