Club Zen was closed over the weekend, at the urging of the district attorney, because of recent violence and other concerns. On Monday, the club’s owners said it is closed for good.
Odds are good that in the not too distant future, it will become home to the Pittsburgh Riverhounds soccer team, a permanent new stadium on the banks of the Monongahela River in Station Square.
