November 2009, the Mon Wharf landing enhancement project was dedicated — another step toward completing the Great Allegheny Passage from Washington D.C. to Pittsburgh.
The Washington Monument re-opened Tuesday, after being closed for nearly three years following an earthquake that cracked and shook loose some of the stones.
