Does your pet have a favorite toy? Something he or she carries around the house, plays fetch with, maybe uses as a pillow. It’s probably slobber soaked and smells something awful, but you’d never dream of trying to pry it from the paws of your furry friend.
The first Presidential pet I can recall is Millie. I was very little and barely knew who the President of the United States was or that he was the leader of the free world. But, I certainly knew that adorable brown and white English Springer Spaniel.
I’m switching things up a little for this installment of Furry Tails! Instead of personal pet stories, I’m going to combine two of my favorite things – my love of animals with my love of Hollywood.
So, I’ll admit it! I’m not a cat person. Don’t get me wrong, I love cats. Got nothing against them. I’ve just never been the proud owner of one.
Loss. Losing a loved one. Sometimes it’s nearly impossible to deal with. Drowning in grief and getting harder and harder to come up for air.
The soft glowing light of the alarm clock says 3:42 a.m. The low hum of the air conditioner kicking on is followed by the soft hiss of air beginning to come through the vent in the corner.
